What a box like this has to do
Charger and accessory boxes often sit in long rows of similar products, online and in stores. The box has to show what is inside, state the key specifications clearly and still look like part of one brand family across many products. Boxes sold from hooks need a tab, and a window lets the buyer see the real product. These are general needs of the category, not requirements the brand gave us.
How the box is built
Most of the boxes are upright retail cartons with a product image on the front: the HiTune earbuds boxes in different colourways, the black Nexode charger box and the tall USB-C docking station box. The Nexode RG charger boxes hang from a black tab and show the charger through a clear PVC window. The power bank box has an inner part that slides out of a black and red sleeve, the wireless charger box opens to a printed inner panel, and the FUN keyboard boxes are long, flat cartons.
Print and finishing
The photos show soft pastel and dark solid backgrounds, a silver-look surface on the wireless charger box, colour gradients, small specification icons and fine type. Keeping colour consistent across a whole product family is the hard part with boxes like these. Our line in Dongguan includes Heidelberg offset presses, gloss or matte film lamination, spot UV, hot-foil stamping, automatic die-cutting, high-speed folder-gluing, mounting, lid-and-base box forming, variable-data coding and automatic inspection. We do not state here which machine ran this particular job.
How we work on similar boxes
For boxes like these we follow the same seven factory steps: design and sampling, plate-making and printing, surface finishing, die-cutting and gluing, gift-box assembly, coding and inspection, and delivery. This describes how our factory works in general. It is not a record of this project.
