Finishes and processes
The finishes and printing processes we run in-house: four-colour and spot-colour offset printing, gloss and matte lamination, spot UV, hot-foil stamping and variable-data printing.
- Hot-foil stamping. Hot-foil stamping transfers metallic or coloured foil onto the sheet with heat and pressure.
- Spot UV. Spot UV is a clear, glossy coating applied only to selected areas, often on top of matte lamination, so logos and patterns catch the light..
- Gloss and matte lamination. Lamination is a thin film applied over the print.
- Four-colour and spot-colour printing. Offset printing builds most images from four process colours (cyan, magenta, yellow and black).
- Variable-data printing. Variable-data printing puts information that changes from batch to batch, such as batch numbers, onto otherwise identical packaging.
