Box styles
The structures buyers ask about most. Each page explains how the style works and when to use it.
- Lid-and-base boxes A lid-and-base box is a two-piece rigid box: a base and a separate lid that slides over it.
- Flip-top boxes A flip-top box has a lid hinged to the base, so it opens like a book or a jewellery case.
- Drawer boxes A drawer box has a sleeve and a tray that slides out.
- Hanging-tab boxes A hanging-tab box has a die-cut tab with a hole so it can hang on a retail peg.
- Mailer boxes A mailer box is a folding box with a tuck-in lid, made to ship flat and be folded by the packer.
- Handle gift boxes A handle gift box has a carry handle built into the box, so the gift can be carried without a separate bag.
- Folding rigid boxes A folding rigid box looks like a rigid gift box when set up but folds flat for shipping.
- Boxes with inserts An insert holds the product in place inside the box.
