What a box like this has to do
A food gift box is bought to be given, so it has to look like a present. A carry handle lets the buyer take it straight to a visit or a family meal without a separate bag. The inside should hold the food packs in place so they arrive neat. These are general needs of the category, not requirements the brand gave us.
How the box is built
The E Jiao Gao box is a wide, flat box in landscape format. A brown twisted cord at the top edge forms the handle, and the large front panel leaves room for the product name. The red box is shown open. The lid is hinged on the left side, and the base holds a red insert with two rectangular cavities that keep the packs apart. A red loop at the top serves as the handle. Beside it stands a cream box front from the same range.
Print and finishing
On the white box, the product name is set in large gold-tone brush calligraphy, with the brand logo on a gold-tone label, a small red seal mark and a rose drawn in raised white lines across the surface. Inside the red lid, fine gold-tone line drawings of ingredients sit on deep red; the cream front is printed in brown with a large character framed by wheat ears. Our line in Dongguan includes Heidelberg offset presses, gloss or matte film lamination, spot UV, hot-foil stamping, automatic die-cutting, high-speed folder-gluing, mounting, lid-and-base box forming, variable-data coding and automatic inspection. We do not state here which machine ran this particular job.
How we work on similar boxes
For boxes like these we follow the same seven factory steps: design and sampling, plate-making and printing, surface finishing, die-cutting and gluing, gift-box assembly, coding and inspection, and delivery. This describes how our factory works in general. It is not a record of this project.
