What a box like this has to do
Supplement cartons carry the product name, ingredients and directions, so small type has to stay sharp, and there is usually space for batch and date codes. A range sold side by side should look like one family while each product stays easy to tell apart. Gift packaging for health products has a different job: it has to feel generous enough to give, and a display box has to hold each item upright. These are general needs of the category, not requirements the brand gave us.
How the box is built
The Jinzun (King Drink) set combines several pieces in one look: rectangular folding cartons in different sizes, a tall upright carton, and an open display box whose raised back panel stands above a base with round recesses. The set is shown with matching carrier bags. The supplement cartons are landscape folding cartons with the product name on the left of the front panel and a colour picture on the right. The protein powder photo shows a finished carton beside printed, die-cut blanks fanned out flat, the stage before folding and gluing.
Print and finishing
The Jinzun pieces are printed in deep blue with a water-like texture, framed by gold-tone borders, with a gold-tone boat logo and fine wave patterns. The supplement cartons are white with a wavy colour band along the bottom and full-colour pictures: a red panel with a heartbeat line, wheat ears, a honeycomb with a bee, and vegetables. The protein powder carton uses gold-tone bands on white. Our line in Dongguan includes Heidelberg offset presses, gloss or matte film lamination, spot UV, hot-foil stamping, automatic die-cutting, high-speed folder-gluing, mounting, lid-and-base box forming, variable-data coding and automatic inspection. We do not state here which machine ran this particular job.
How we work on similar boxes
For boxes like these we follow the same seven factory steps: design and sampling, plate-making and printing, surface finishing, die-cutting and gluing, gift-box assembly, coding and inspection, and delivery. This describes how our factory works in general. It is not a record of this project.
