A rigid gift box has two materials: the board that gives it strength, and the wrap paper that carries the print. Thicker board feels sturdier; the wrap decides the look.
Coated paper prints sharp colour. Textured and specialty papers feel different in the hand but print less sharply. Ask for samples of both before deciding.
